Case Study

Peora is a prolific jewelry brand that sells across multiple 3rd party online marketplaces (eg. Amazon). The scope of this work was to significantly overhaul the user interface and visual design of Peora’s Direct-to-Consumer website and marketing strategy, including a full CMS transition from BigCommerce to Shopify. The goal was to increase specific conversion rates across the website and digital touch points to drive top line growth as well as profitability.

Director of Brand Strategy & Development

Directed the creation of Brand Guidelines which set the standard and rules for the brand across all digital touch points. Implemented a product description and copy creation strategy for over 4,000 product SKUs. Oversaw the creation of approximately 100 visual assets across the website including stock imagery, CGI photography and in-studio photography.

Supervised the design and development of a bespoke BigCommerce, and later Shopify, website that addressed customer needs while also reinforcing Peora’s authority in the affordable luxury jewelry industry. Managed all creative teams that were based overseas: London, Australia, Spain and Vietnam.

Director of Marketing & E-commerce

Created a robust buyer persona analysis and digital marketing strategy following the SMART framework that addressed future needs with actionable marketing tactics, KPI’s and prioritization. Provided thorough recommendations for key stakeholders that addressed social media organic / paid marketing strategies, Google Shopping and PPC strategies, content strategies from topic clusters to User Generated Content initiatives, and Artificial Intelligence implementations.

Implemented e-mail marketing automations that led to a 506% sales lift from e-mail marketing initiatives. Integrated LiveChat automations which also increased conversions by 100% within the first three months. Integrated heat mapping technology into the Conversion Rate Optimization strategy to reduce bounce rate by 3% across mobile devices. Executed the implementation of a robust product filtering and site search system which increased site search conversions by 74%. Managed Paid Media initiatives which resulted in a 223% increase in ROAS.
